I never said i was right, i said i think! It still wouldn't be crude because it would be implied, but whatever. Comedy is subjective, just because you don't like crude humour it doesn't mean that it wasn't cleverly thought out (if it's done correctly)

You are wrong. See my other reply. They weren't as crude as that in those days.

The script writers then were capable of genuine word-play jokes which were funny without being crude, unlike most of today's script writers.

Love this! The bloke at the end was meant to be a girl with big boobies and Ron was to ask for a couple of huge knockers but they thought that it was too near the knuckle for british audiences! Would have topped it off great though....
